MY ROLE AS YOUR CELEBRANT

My role is to bring your story to life by creating a personal and bespoke snapshot of a person, or a couple's remarkable lives, in a non-religious ceremony, to celebrate and share with your family, friends and loved ones, with professionalism, grace, care and attention to detail and with a little, or a lot, of humour!

As your Celebrant, I shall offer you a service for you to be proud of.

A little bit about me:

I live in beautiful South Devon, where I married my husband and where we raised our daughter, who unlike her parents is a true Devonian!

When I’m not volunteering, as a ward buddy at a local hospital, I enjoy coastal walks and hiking across Dartmoor.  I also embark on bigger challenges, such as walking the West Highland Way, Scotland, and the occasional tandem skydive at Dunkeswell Airfield, jumping at 15000 feet!

I have always been passionate about the arts, which is one of the reasons why a few years ago, I completed a BA Honours degree with the Open University, in Humanities, with English Language.

I am an independent Celebrant who trained with The Academy of Professional Celebrants.  Prior to that I worked in the legal profession for nearly thirty years, practicing as a Licensed Conveyancer, followed by a career in property management.

My philosophy is that everything happens for a reason, although at times, it’s hard to understand why.
