Funerals & Memorials
Always remember:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
By Gorge Carlin and Graham Chapman
If you would like to discuss using my services for a funeral please either contact me directly, or through your funeral director. The next step is to arrange an initial introductory meeting between us, followed by further meetings, so I can really get to know your loved one/the deceased, and to enable me to create and write a suitable eulogy, and to discuss the details you would like included at the ceremony.
I can also assist you with selecting poetry, prose, or a reading to include in the ceremony or for those who would like to participate personally.
Prices range from £250.
This includes:
Phone, email, and any other communication, and also travel up to a radius of 20 miles.
Writing and obtaining your approval to the eulogy script, along with a copy for you to keep.

Example of a poem that you might like included at a funeral or celebration of life ceremony:
The Lost Half, by Donna Ashworth
Ah but what is left
when half of you is gone?
How does that half
learn how to carry on?
How does that half
let go of all it's known?
How does that half
rise up from bed each day?
Knowing that its partner
won't be there
to show the way?
A half without its half
needs to learn to breathe again.
Forever thinking of its half
its sole mate
and best friend.
